Mona Angel Framed - Reloved Series

The 'Mona Angel', Canvas framed painting is a painting from an auction that had some damage on the canvas that needed work and is now looking great and given a new lease of life. This was painted as part of the Reloved Series. Copies of the original artwork flooded the marketplace many years ago so to repaint and add my own spin on this amazing classic was extremely refreshing. Many see Mona as an angelic painting so to give her neon wings and a halo felt appropriate and of course my well know dripping hearts as a backdrop. Acrylic and oil paints were used in the creation of this piece and the frame has been restored.
